The walls of this historic industrial building have a ? literally ? spirited history. For it was here on the Swiss side of Lake Constance that high-percentage alcoholic beverages were distilled and stored for a period of over a century, from 1887 to 1996. Distillation of the schnapps and fruit brandies was commissioned by none other than the Swiss government.

These fascinating surroundings now house exhibition halls containing fabulous vehicles from a variety of epochs. But apart from this, autobau? is an unusual venue and meeting point for a wide range of events, with its own racing circuit, group visits and a wide range of culinary services.
