It is based on the road-going MC20 version, from which it adopts many high-performance specifications. These include the innovative Nettuno V6 engine with the new Maserati Twin Combustion Technology (MTC), the double wishbone suspension with semi-virtual steering axle and the carbon monocoque.<\/p><p>It celebrated its racing debut in October 2023 at the GT2 European Series race in Le Castellet, France.<\/p><p>With 16 pole positions, 12 victories (including 7 in the Am and 5 in the Pro-Am class), 7 second places and 5 third places, Maserati dominated the 2024 championship.<\/p><p>With more victories than any other manufacturer, the Maserati MC20 GT2 has proven its potential on the European race tracks, combining state-of-the-art technology with spectacular performance.
