Grand Prix 1931<\/h3><\/div>\n

Ettore Bugatti (1881-1947) war einer der erfolgreichsten Automobilbauer der Geschichte. Er gilt als Genie und beeindruckte mit seiner charismatischen Pers\u00f6nlichkeit. Er faszinierte seine Mitmenschen mit seiner beeindruckenden Ausstrahlung.<\/p>

Kein anderer Automobil-Konstrukteur revolutionierte den Rennwagen-Bau so sehr wie Ettore Bugatti. Mit dem Type 13 zeigte Bugatti 1912, dass man mit einem Bruchteil der bisher \u00fcblichen Motorengr\u00f6sse (bis zu 12-Liter) und einem erheblich reduzierten Gewicht nicht nur \u00e4quivalente Beschleunigung erzielte, sondern auch Strassenlage, Bremswirkung und Benzinverbrauch deutlich verbesserte. Ebenso genial war die Art und Weise, wie Ettore seine Autos konzipierte. \"Le Patron\", wie seine weit \u00fcber 1000 Mitarbeiter Ettore gerne nannten, ging mit einer eher k\u00fcnstlerischen und intuitiven Art an die Konzeption seiner Autos. Seine Produkte und all deren Details waren nicht nur sch\u00f6n und skulptural, sondern dieser atypische Ansatz resultierte erstaunlicherweise in hoher Zuverl\u00e4ssigkeit und in grossen Rennerfolgen.<\/p>

1924-1933 war die erfolgreichste Bugatti-Periode. Das permanente Bed\u00fcrfnis nach immer mehr Leistung zwecks Erhaltung der Dominanz f\u00fchrte 1930 zum Type 51 Grand Prix \u2013 die logische Weiterentwicklung der genialen Type 35 Generation. Mit dem Vorg\u00e4nger Type 35 B waren die Autos weitgehend identisch, beeindruckten jedoch mit einem neuen 2.3 Liter Doppelnockenwellen-Motoren (inspiriert von den Miller Rennwagen). Nur gerade 40 Exemplare vom Type 51 Grand Prix wurden gebaut (Vergleich: komplette Type 35 Grand Prix Reihe 204 Expl.).<\/p>

Seit 2022 steht einer der 40 Exemplare in der autobau erlebniswelt. Fredy A. und Fredy Alexander Lienhard nahmen 2023 an der Passione Engadina teil und fuhren teils bei str\u00f6menden Regen \u00fcber diverse P\u00e4sse.<\/p>
